Signal Spam is regularly mentioned on this blog in connection with deliverability and anti-spam issues. Last week, we learned of the appointment of its new president, none other than the CTO of SplioLouis Rouxel.
As a reminder, Signal Spam is a non-profit association developing a network of trust to fight against spam. The organization allows Internet users to report any message they consider to be spam and gathers representatives of all professions related to email marketing who gather in working groups and think tanks. Among other initiatives of Signal Spam, we find the feedback loop that allows routers and advertisers to know the volume of spam complaints generated by their IP addresses.
