Emailing agency: Infographic on their role in the industry

Here is an interesting subject that Litmus proposes to us! Badsender being also a communication agency expert in email marketingIn this study, we are necessarily interested in what is done by our colleagues/competitors (mainly across the Atlantic). In this study, we learn for example that 38% of the advertisers questioned use the services of an emailing agency but that this figure rises to 51.1% in companies with more than 500 employees. We also learn that emailing agencies are mainly used for specific projects, but that a significant part of companies also use them for "everyday" projects.

When a company uses an emailing agency, here are the different moments during which these agencies are used:

  • 55.3% for special projects
  • 27.9% for day-to-day operations
  • 27.9% for analytics
  • 20.8% for strategic planning

In the study, we can also learn that on average emailing agencies have a specialized team twice as large as companies that have internalized the production of their emailing. This allows for greater flexibility.

We will also learn that emailing agencies use more specialized tools than the internal teams of companies and have a more intensive use of different checklists, which is relatively normal given their specialization.
