Participate in the #noreplywar: a survival kit!

Source : https://www.prc68.com/I/SurvivalKit.shtmlAlready a victory for the #noreplywar ! Carrefour is the first advertiser to be added to the Wééééélist on the minisite.

To try to convince other advertisers, here are some typical emails and tweets to send depending on the case. The goal is to enter into a dialogue with the advertiser!

The newsletter uses a no-reply but a contact email address is available in the email or on the website

Reply email:

By replying directly to the emailing (keeping the no-reply email address in the recipients) and adding the contact email address found in the newsletter or on the website.

"Hello,

I noticed in your newsletter that you use a "no-reply" email address while a contact email address is available (contact@example.com). Why not make life easier for your customers (and thus improve your image) by offering them to simply reply to your emails?

To motivate you to change your practices, we suggest that you appear on a list of advertisers who respect this good practice: https://checkthis.com/no-reply-war

Please feel free to forward this email to the department concerned by these issues. Do not hesitate to ask me for more information.

Sincerely yours, "

The newsletter uses a no-reply and no contact email address is available in the email or on the website

Reply email:

Impossible of course ... but you can always try on the no-reply address, you never know!

"Hello,

I noticed in your newsletter that you use a no-reply email address. Why this practice? Wouldn't it be a good idea to make your customers' lives easier (and thus improve your image) by offering them to simply reply to your emails to contact you?

"@advertiser Hello, why use a No-reply address in your emailings? It's counter productive! #noreplywar https://ow.ly/fbS85 "

The newsletter does not use no-reply, let's check if a human is hiding behind the address that sends the emails

Reply email:

By answering the email, one hopes to contact a real person. The ultimate would be to receive a bounce in return ... which is far from impossible.

"Hello,

I noticed in your newsletter that you don't use a No-reply email address. And this is very good news! However, we would like to check if by replying to your newsletter your customers can receive a response from your customer service.

" @advertiser Bravo! You don't use No-reply in your emailings? But do you respond to your consos? #noreplywar https://ow.ly/fbS85 "

Other scenarios and finally

It is possible to be confronted with other scenarios, in particular newsletters explaining to their customers not to answer the email ... but which on the other hand (and sometimes two lines below) incite to "To contact us, please use the following email address: contact@exemple.com" ... which is even more absurd ...

In such cases, feel free to share the formulas you use to enrich this survival kit.

Finally, feel free to share your successes as well as your defeats! It is also interesting to know the arguments of the pro "no-reply" people!

Have a good battle! And much success!
