News flash: Actito, marketing automation solution acquires SmartFocus

This June 17, 2019, Actito announces the acquisition of SmartFocus (formerly Emailvision) for an amount that has not been currently disclosed. SmartFocus was founded in 1999 by Nick Heys under the name Emailvision in Paris and is one of the historical players in email marketing.

This acquisition follows a clear desire on the part ofActito to open up more and more to the international market. The press release mentions the technical integration of the SmartFocus solution into Actito and that the support and customer service of SmartFocus will remain in the hands of the latter's teams.

"Our goal is to offer marketers an alternative to the American marketing cloud by better adapting to the needs and constraints of European regulations." - Benoît De Nayer, co-CEO and founder of ACTITO.
