The replay of the webinar "Data and marketing performance" with Cheetah Digital

This morning, we hosted a webinar with Cheetah Digital on the theme:

Data and marketing performance: their collection, analysis and exploitation to make your campaigns a success

Speakers' side: Magalie Lasfargues and Joffrey Guichard from Cheetah Digital and myself for Badsender. (There was also Jonathan Loriaux in the backstage, he intervened during a question about spamtraps at the end of the presentation, listen it is very clear ;-))

What was said there?

Magalie and Joffrey started by introducing the evolution of consumer attitudes towards data collection and the importance of building your own database.

They then illustrated with 3 concrete examples collection mechanisms via quizzes and contests by highlighting the originality of the mechanisms, the exchange of value and the types of data collected (mainly email addresses and centers of interest).

Then, I intervened on (yes, it's true, there was a problem at the beginning but it's ok !) :

  • how to structure its strategy collection The following are some of the most important elements of your CRM strategy: define the data that will allow you to better understand your customers, categorize them to feed your segmentation and personalization strategy, and feed these fields related to customer knowledge directly into your CRM database on an ongoing basis.
  • activation of new contacts Send a welcome scenario right away that will last about 3 weeks/1 month and then integrate these new contacts into your mailing schedule.
  • and the precautions to be taken to preserve its deliverability The following are the most important aspects of the project: the sources of collection at risk, the strategy for monitoring its collection and finally the technical architecture to be planned.

Joffrey then gave a live demonstration of the Cheetah Experiences module. It is a module that allows you to create original collection mechanisms very easily: quizzes, polls, instant wins, social experiments, Instagram stories...

One of the advantages of Cheetah digital is that it offers an all-in-one platform. From the same tool, you can easily create very design collection mechanisms, your collected data are directly integrated into your CRM database and therefore directly available to activate welcome scenarios.

Where most of our clients often have 2 separate platforms. 1 platform to create contests and 1 marketing campaign management tool to run emailing / CRM campaigns. These 2 platforms do not communicate. There is then a breaking point. The new contacts are not quickly integrated into the CRM databases. And it becomes very difficult to reactivate them a few months later.

Then we had questions about activation scenarios, spamtraps, preference centers... well, I'll let you discover!
