Integration of Google Postmaster Tools with our deliverability monitoring solution

As you may know, Badsender is a partner of the 250ok solution for its deliverability monitoring. And the good news is that Google Postmaster Tools are now integrated into the core of the tool.

This allows you to access GPT data without having to leave the 250ok interface and thus to have all the reputation and deliverability monitoring information in one place (seedlist results, blacklist checks, spamtraps monitoring, Microsoft SNDS data, Signal Spam data, Feedback Loops, bounce/open/click rates, etc.).

To access it, you need to go to the Reputation > Google Postmaster Tools module.

How to add GPT in 250ok?

In the Google Postmaster Tools from Gmail, click on "+ Add domain" and in the window that opens, add all the domains and sub-domains you wish to track.

Once this is done, all domains will be marked as "Pending Setup". In order for 250ok to have access to this data you will need to authorize access to the email address googlepmt@250ok.com on Google Postmaster Tools for all these domains.

As a reminder of how the Google Postmaster Tools, feel free to consult our article.

What features are available?

A customized tracking table

Once the domains are configured, you will have access to an overview of the Google reputation of all your domains:

By clicking on the domain, you will have access to more data.

At the moment it is mainly a refactoring of the data already present in Google Postmaster Tools, but you can expect additional features in the coming months to be able to play with the data present.

API

As for all the features of 250ok, the Google Postmaster Tools module is now fully usable via the 250ok API, whether it is consulting data, getting the list of monitored domains, ... This will allow you to play with the GPT data in your other information systems and data analysis. The documentation is available here.

Automatic alerts and dashboards

For the moment, Google Postmaster Tools data is not yet usable in custom dashboards or in automatic alerts. Nevertheless, for the alerts at least, 250ok declared to be working on it and already gives some examples of what it will be possible to do (basically, what we already have as possibilities in the other modules, that is, a lot of possibilities!

  • Sudden spike in spam complaints? Notification in a Slack channel
  • The reputation of an IP or domain goes from High to Low? Send me an SMS
  • IPs get a bad reputation? Open a ticket on PagerDuty
  • You have many IP addresses? Send me a summary by email
