Can you give us a brief history of Self-News ? When was the platform founded, by whom, has the business model evolved since the beginning of the adventure?
SELF-NEWS is the fusion of XTCO's experience in E-marketing and application development. The innovative technologies mastered by our team, its graphic editor and its ergonomics designed to be as accessible as possible, are the result of 2 years of research and development.
Entirely financed by equity, this solution has already seduced a number of our current customers (Hertz, Banque Populaire, 3WS, INOPS, Equinimmo, IBP...). The SELF-NEWS platform is available online since November 2013. Software publisher based in Evry since 2002, we provide our customers with expertise and E-marketing solutions. Our customers, both SMEs and large companies (more than 300 customers) trust us to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. The quality of our exchanges and the partnerships with them have brought us a lot in the functional description and the development of Self-News.
What makes Self-News unique? What distinguishes you from other players in this very competitive market?
SELF-NEWS is the most ergonomic and complete online service (ASP) to design form, content and send newsletters and emailings.
The graphic editor proposed by Self-News is a major innovation on the email creation market and is today the only editor in the world to offer complete freedom of graphic creation. It allows a major saving of time in the construction of an e-mailing and ensures an important reduction of the creation time and the associated costs (factor 10).
Without computer skills, it allows non-specialists in e-mailing, thanks to an algorithm to hide all the complexity of setting up and layout of newsletters. The routing of emails is then ensured by our routing platform in compliance with the rules of the art and the optimization of deliverability.
What are the 3 main challenges for the next few months in the emailing world?

What do you think of the French emailing market? Is it mature or is there still room for new innovations?
The development of mobility offers a second youth to email. Smartphones and tablets will become the first mode of reading emails before the computer.
Boosted by mobility, email is experiencing a clear revival. The responsive design is a strong axis of development. Our market is growing and new technological perspectives will increase the demand. The growing need of small and medium-sized businesses, which are still not well equipped, to have a simple but professional communication solution offers us very interesting prospects. Our particularly advanced and innovative technology allows us to position ourselves as a new entrant bringing a strong added value in the creation of newsletters.
