case study about

01.Summary

As Kolecto enters a phase of acceleration, supported by its nationwide distribution via Crédit Agricole's 39 Regional Banks, email infrastructure becomes a central lever for success.Since the launch in early 2025, mailing volumes have been growing steadily - so Kolecto's marketing department took the lead in laying a sound and sustainable technical foundation with the help of Badsender. This strategic window allows best practices to be implemented today, in anticipation of the massive ramp-up currently underway and planned for the year 2025.

02.challenges

Kolecto, a young and fast-growing platform, is anticipating a strong increase in the volume of its commercial, transactional and newsletter emails, which will require a high value-added email infrastructure:
  • Ultra-reliable, intelligent transactional emails, guaranteeing a smooth, reassuring experience for our users (notifications, reminders, security, data exports...).
  • Targeted, contextualized and technically impeccable marketing campaigns focused on our customers' real-life uses, to boost adoption and stimulate product engagement.
  • A regular editorial newsletter, designed as a reference point for VSE/SME managers, to establish Kolecto as the leading brand for financial management in France.

03.Solutions

The mission was carried out in two stages: a complete audit of the email infrastructure, followed by operational support to implement the recommendations, with the aim of securing the increase in volume, reinforcing deliverability and enhancing the skills of the teams.
  • Analyze deliverability and current configuration of Kolecto emails
  • Receive advice on how to solidify Kolecto's deliverability in advance of a major volume increase
  • Help teams to increase their skills (and knowledge) in deliverability issues.
  • Redefining deliverability architecture
  • The mission was carried out in two phases: an audit phase followed by a coaching phase to implement the recommendations.

04.Result

The existing structure proved to be sound:
  • No major deliverability problems detected
  • Good overall reputation of sending domains
  • Satisfactory engagement rates across all email types
  • Existing infrastructure functional and adapted to current needs.
The audit identified areas for optimization: better technical authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), compartmentalization by email type (marketing, transactional, notifications), and more comprehensive monitoring.
