As you may know, the M³AAWG is an organization that brings together the different actors in the fight against online fraud, spam, malware, ... In this context, the organization has published a few weeks ago a guide to help email senders to get out of the impasse that can constitute a blocking.
In this guide, you will find 4 steps to get out of this mess:
- Finding the source of the problem and identifying the method to get you off the block list;
- Evaluation of the impact of the "listing;
- Action: Implementation of a solution;
- Communication about actions taken to the owner of the block list.
As you can see, you should absolutely try to remedy your internal problems (the ones that led you to be listed) before contacting the owner of the blocking list.
