not a one-way media ! I don't know how many times it needs to be said, but email exists primarily for the
dialogue that it allows on the internet before being a media used to communicate with customers. So how is it possible to start an email with this sentence: "
This is an automated email, do not reply to it. " ?
However, this is what
Aufeminin.com for sending its daily recipes, whereas this is not the case in its other emails.
Other
negative points of emailing, the absence of
Call-to-Action text (even if an alternative text is well placed on the Call-to-Action image) and the fact that the
main image of the recipe is not displayed because of a
broken link. We can also note the lack of information on the level of
privacyThe unsubscribe link is there, but that's all!
Otherwise, there'd probably be
many things to add in this email. Besides the look which is not very original we would have liked :
- of direct links to the different revenue categories;
- a reminder of the different services of the Aufeminin.com site;
- a focus on themobile application;
- sharing on the social networks;
- …
