Because there is no
not just bad examples that make you grow, here is an example of
emailing close to perfection (there is a big imperfection in the picture). This is a newsletter from the e-commerce site
Shoes.com.
What I like most about this newsletter is the
readability of this one
when images are not displayed. This is really an example of the good use of
ALT tags and styling. Obviously, the capture below is made in Gmail, the result is probably not as bluffing in Outlook.

While in many ways this newsletter is exemplary, a
big black spot still comes to taint the picture, it is the
absence total
of text version of the email. Another negative point is the
bad text/image ratio. These two points are clearly in
disadvantage a good
deliverability.
