To be well organized, one of the first steps was to find a Groupware. Some basic criteria: be an open source software, work in relation with a fat client, have a web interface, do project management and that the fat client runs on Linux.

Not easy as the offer of free groupwares is so important but not always easy to understand. After having reviewed some of them, I came to the conclusion thateGroupware was just right for my needs. In addition, in php, it installs without too much trouble with the "all in one" hosts (mine anyway).

The only downside is that the thick client it works best with is Kontact while I would have preferred Evolution under GNOME. Time will perhaps bring out a quality connector under Evolution.
