European infrastructure for LePatron email builder

If you are a user of our email builder LePatronSo you've already heard. For the rest of you, here's the news: in order to align our environmental and social requirements with those of our service providers, we have migrated our LePatron email builder to Clever Cloud, a European hosting infrastructure based in France.

Why is it so important to us?

Badsender is a committed agency. Since 2021, we are gradually migrating our technical infrastructures to partners with a policy of reducing their carbon footprint, hosting data mainly in Europe.

And this was not yet the case for our email builder's hostings:

• Application Heroku (SalesForce - USA)
• Data Atlas (MongoDB - USA)
• Resources (images) AWS S3 (Amazon - USA)

You'll soon realize that we weren't quite up to our standards.

After working on our raison d'être, our carbon footprintour services, our customer portfoliothat little something was always missing.

For our LePatron email builder, we selected a single service provider:

Clever Cloud

A Platform as a Service (PaaS) on a French cloud created and based in Europe with strong commitments :

• Sovereignty : founded in Nantes, France, in 2010, Clever Cloud designs its services and technologies in France, and helps promote European digital sovereignty.
• Green by design : with a technological approach based on dynamic, optimal and sustainable resource allocation. Clever Cloud allows you to consume only the energy you really need, and reduce the carbon footprint of your applications.
• Diversity and inclusion: are founding values of the company. Both within the company and on the platform (language, accessibility, support for associations, transmission of knowledge...).
• Safety : Clever Cloud is committed to ensuring the highest level of data protection. Security assessment and compliance, vulnerability reporting, immutable infrastructure and ISO 9001 and ISO 27001: 2022 certification.
• Open Source : the LePatron email builder is an Open Source project. And it's part of Clever Cloud's corporate culture to contribute to many Open Source projects.

Now that this exciting project has been completed, and thanks to your invaluable feedback, we can get back to work on the development roadmap. We still have plenty of ideas, new features and improvements to come!
