Gmail tabs: Examples of emails sent by advertisers

I've already had the opportunity to express myself on what I thought about the new Gmail tabs elsewhere (read: " The new Gmail tabs, what conclusions can be drawn?" ). Today, I propose you a small tour of the emails sent by some advertisers in order to propose to their subscribers to put back their newsletter in the main box.

My first remark, are these operations "one shot", or is there a real reflection behind? If it is the case, it is to be hoped that this type of email will be integrated into the welcome programs, ... when they exist. For my part, I am still skeptical about the usefulness of these emails. We have very little hindsight on the subject and Gmail filters will still evolve! On the other hand, if you are the author of an email of this type and that you have carried out a precise monitoring of results, I am interested.

  1. Thank you Jonathan for this well documented article proving the need for 2.0 professions to be agile to follow the rapid evolution of tools with doors closing and others opening. Our 2.0 skills are ephemeral and that's what makes it an exciting space. Champions of habit go your way 🙂
